About the Opportunity
Epsilon, AdAge’s #1 Ranked U.S. Agency, is seeking a dynamic Director, Strategic Marketing Solutions to work with Fortune 500 clients on marketing transformation, strategic planning, and customer experience design projects. This newly created role will be responsible for ensuring that the client’s marketing transformation strategy is executed in a way that aligns the marketing, data, technology, and operational activities with customer needs and the client’s business objectives. Additionally, the person in this role will facilitate quantifying and socializing the business case for transformation across all stakeholder groups on an ongoing basis.

Duties and Required Skills

  • Develop actionable holistic marketing playbooks and roadmaps that transform go-to-market approaches from being cadence and campaign-led to being audience/customer-driven
  • Translate best practices and ideal states into pragmatic strategies and plans that have measurable results in the short, medium, and long term
  • Define business requirements and ensure that customer (both client and end-customer) and business needs (both client and Epsilon) are preserved when converted into technical requirements and delivery specifications
  • Design, maintain and present business case and performance metrics for transformation to senior stakeholders within Epsilon and the client
  • Partner with the account team and client leadership to drive continuous improvement in execution and communication across both organizations and other 3rd party agencies
  • Adept at proactive problem-solving in complex, dynamic environments with high levels of uncertainty; Able to develop multiple solutions to challenges as they arise and quantify their trade-offs
  • Demonstrate command and presence along with the ability to influence large, cross-functional groups and executive teams
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task efficiently
  • Exhibits healthy skepticism with what-if scenarios
  • Influences senior stakeholders and large teams collaboratively and effectively
  • Act as subject matter expert for customer journey marketing

Experience and Education

  • 8+ years of professional experience
  • Demonstrated leadership in implementing innovation projects and/or new
  • programs involving marketing, data, and technology
  • Bachelor’s degree required and an MBA or master’s degree equivalent is preferred
